We are proud to present the Make & Go, Shreve Memorial Library’s new Mobile Makerspace. The new vehicle rolled out into the public in the spring of 2019, just in time for National Library Week.
The Make & Go will provide STEAM programming on the go, traveling to outreach events in the community, the library’s 21 branches throughout Caddo Parish, SPAR Recreation Centers and more.
Materials for use with the Make & Go include laptops, iPads, a 3D printer and scanner, robotics, building sets, portable hotspots, arts and craft supplies, SNAP circuits, and sewing and embroidery tools. All of these items will let us expand our programming and let you get creative and make something new!
Want to schedule a visit or program with the Mobile Makerspace? Contact our Programming/Outreach Librarian Lauren Metzger at 318-226-5864 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Want to see where the library’s Make & Go will be next? Check out the Calendar below to see all of our upcoming programs.
It is the practice of Shreve Memorial Library’s Programming and Outreach Team to provide programs for the library branches and community organizations and attend events offsite as scheduled. However, to ensure the safety of employees during periods of inclement weather, scheduled programs and attendance at events may be cancelled or postponed.
