Learn to Speak Spanish

Harry Potter Escape Room
Thursdays and Fridays in November and December: The Harry Potter Escape Room is back. Designed for groups of 2-6 persons. Participants must register as a group, in advance. Appropriate for persons aged 12 and up. Groups should expect to spend up to 30 minutes in the escape room. The event is free of charge. Call, 226-5897, to reserve your spot.

Fiction Book Club

Builder Club
Families and children will build using LEGO and Duplo blocks. Individuals will have the choice to either build along our weekly theme or build something from their own imagination. -

Yule Ball
Shreve Memorial Library is going to throw a party like you’ve never seen! Come to the Yule Ball, and get ready to be amazed. This Harry Potter-themed dance party will take place on Friday, December 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at our Main Library! Students in grades 6th through 12th are invited to attend.
Come dressed in your finest suit, dress, robes, or other wizarding attire! Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. All students must have a completed permission slip to attend, and non-driving teens must sign out in order to leave.
We don’t want to tell you everything about the night just yet—just be prepared for a night of Harry Potter celebration and surprises!
