Homework Louisiana

Are you ready for the new school year? Make sure you use Homework Louisiana with your library card! Homework Louisiana provides free one-on-one tutoring, whether you are in kindergarten or college.

Live tutors are available Sunday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to midnight and can help students of all ages. There is also help available for adults through the Adult Education and Career Center on Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Students can access one-on-one help through the website: http://www.homeworkla.org/. You can also download the Tutor.com to go app for iOS (iPad, iPhone) and Android and get homework help on the move.

Students get more features on the site if you sign up with a username and password. There is a quiz assessment section that lets you practice skills for math, science, and language arts. Also, registered users can get detailed feedback for writing assignments such as essays and resumes in 24 hours. You can also keep a list of your favorite tutors.

To use the Tutor.com to go app, you will need to set up an account on the Homework Louisiana site. Then you can sign in using that username and password on the app.

Even when live tutors are not available, students can still access the SkillsCenter Resource Library. The Resource Library contains information on studying, test preparation, and careers through a variety of worksheets, lessons, and videos.

We wish the best of luck to all students in Caddo Parish and beyond. Make sure you take advantage of Shreve Memorial Library’s resources to help you achieve your goals!
