Borrow ‘Cowboy Pride’ and join in the Big Library Read!

Want to join in the world’s largest digital book club? You can with your Shreve Memorial Library card. Through Overdrive, you can check out this summer’s Big Library Read selection Cowboy Pride by Lacy Williams and participate in the Big Library Read from July 9 through July 23!

During the Big Library Read, patrons can check out the selected title from Overdrive without any holds or wait lists. The title for this summer’s Big Library Read is the Western Romance Cowboy Pride by Lacy Williams.

Cowboy Pride retells the love story of Pride and Prejudice with a Wild West twist. Liza Bennett has two goals — keep the family’s shop in business and find love for her shy sister. Sparks fly when Liza meets the charming Rob Darcy at a town dance but he accidentally insults her, jeopardizing their romance.

Janie Bennett is smitten when she meets Nathan Bingley but she is gun-shy about falling in love. However, when she is injured during a storm, Janie and Liza stay at Nathan’s ranch, as hearts and emotions become tangled.

You can borrow Cowboy Pride by Lacy Williams as an e-book through Overdrive. People reading the book can chat about the Big Library Read on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #BigLibraryRead.
