Shreve Memorial Library will host Food for Thought, our Amnesty Days program starting on Monday, November 12 to Wednesday, December 12. During this time, patrons can bring nonperishable food items to the library to eliminate fines.
The library will eliminate one overdue fine for each nonperishable food item donated. Please note that amnesty does not apply to charges for damaged or lost items.
All food donated will go to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana. We are committed to supporting organizations in our community that help other people. By offering fine forgiveness, we are able to offer goodwill to our patrons and help the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
