Catch Rhythm/Soul this January at our libraries

Rhythm/Soul performs at SML

We’re excited to welcome Rhythm/Soul for a series of programs for kids and teens this winter. This musical duo will be performing a program for kids titled “Positive Thinking: No Bullies Allowed” and hosting dance workshops for teens at various branches. Come and get into the rhythm!

“Positive Thinking: No Bullies Allowed” will be an educational and inspirational performance full of dancing and theatrics. Kids will be inspired to treat others with confidence and positivity following the uplifting show.

We will also have Rhythm/Soul’s members Terrance Morgan and Tyler Wilson lead us in a dance workshop for teens at our branches! Students will learn a basic breakdown of urban dance styles, including breakin’ (b-boying/b-girling), poppin’ and other street dance styles. During this workshop, students will learn self-expression, motivation, and hard work, all while getting in a good workout.
