We’re excited to start a new series of STEAM programs for ages 3-6 at the library! Join us for Curious Creators Explore and learn with gadgets designed to spark imaginations. This month, we are playing with Code-A-Pillar, a toy that teaches coding basics.
During the Curious Creators Explore programs in January, children are invited to think and learn with Code-A-Pillar. Code-A-Pillar inspires little learners to be big thinkers by arranging (and rearranging) the easy-to-connect segments in endless combinations to go from "Start" to "Finish." This learning toy encourages experimentation while developing important skills like problem solving, planning and sequencing, and critical thinking.
We hope to see you during one of the programs listed below!
In February, the Curious Creators Explore program will introduce children, ages four to seven, to the friendly wooden robot named Cubetto. Cubetto allows children to discover coding through hands-on play while learning to create and update a sequence, the essence of coding. Children will learn storytelling, logical thinking, spatial awareness, and problem solving. In Curious Creators Explore: Cubetto, children can share with their friends to unite their imaginations and work as a team. Curious Creators Explore: Cubetto will be held at the following locations:
