Being an informed citizen means making sure that you vote. This winter, we are making it easy for you to register to vote at your library, either at a branch during our Voter Registration Drive or online using our Voting Resources web page.
One of Shreve Memorial Library's five key service priorities is to help our patrons to be informed citizens. This means that our patrons will have the information they need to support and promote democracy, to fulfill their civic responsibilities at the local, state and national levels, and to fully participate in community decision-making.
One way to do so is to exercise your right to vote. Several branches will hold voter registration drives during the month of February. If you are not currently registered to vote, please be sure you stop by on one of the dates below and get registered.
This is also a good opportunity to check if you are registered to vote and update your address or other registration information if needed.
