We are hosting several programs to celebrate dads and positive male role models this Father’s Day. Join us for storytimes for toddlers, craft programs, and a program to motivate and celebrate men this June. This year, Father’s Day is on Sunday, June 16.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring children to experience “Mother Goose Storytime: Father's Day Edition” on Wednesday, June 12 at our Hamilton/South Caddo Branch, 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Storytime will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the small meeting room at the branch. Children will listen to stories about fathers.
Come and make a Father’s Day craft with us at our Oil City Branch and Rodessa Branch. Participants will make cards for the special person in their life for Father's Day. The Oil City Branch program will take place on Thursday, June 13 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the branch, located at 102 Allen Street in Oil City. Drop in and create a card Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rodessa Branch, located at 10093 Main Street in Rodessa.
Our David Raines Branch will host “International Men's Month, It's a Man Thing” program on Saturday, June 22. The program will take place at 1 p.m. in the meeting room at the branch, located at 2855 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The speaker will be Elder Chad Harris. Harris will move the audience with a powerful message to men. The public is encouraged to participate.
All programs are free and open to the public.
