Sign Up for Girls Who Code at our Main Branch!

Register for Girls Who Code at Main

Registration is open for the Fall 2019 session of Girls Who Code, a club for girls to educate and inspire them to pursue opportunities in computing fields. This session of Girls Who Code will be held on Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Main Branch, 424 Texas St. This session will start on Friday, September 20 and go until January 2020. Sign up is required for this program.

Please complete the registration form to sign up your child for Girls Who Code for the Fall 2019 session.

This program is capped at 12 students and is first come, first served. The program only accepts girls in grades 6-12. If the program cap is met, you will still be able to register. Library staff will contact you to confirm your registration status. Class begins on Friday, September 20.

No previous coding experience is necessary for this program. Instructors for this session of Girls Who Code will be Page Lafitte at our Main Branch. We are excited to be able to offer Girls Who Code Club again this year. This program is a great opportunity for girls to get hands-on training in programming and technology! Girls Who Code is a national organization with a mission to close the gender gap in technology fields by setting up coding clubs and school programs throughout the United States.
