  17. Kabuki Dancers: Drop the B.E.A.T.

    February 19, 2020, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM @ North Caddo Meeting Room

    In honor of Black History Month, Kabuki Dancers will be at the Shreve Memorial Library for a performance that focuses on the history of Hip-Hop and the important figures that pioneered the culture. The program includes a discussion on the elements of Hip-Hop (and their respective pioneers), demonstrations, a dance workshop which the audience can participate, and dance performance at the end. The Kabuki Dancers will also speak on drums as an influential element to the creation of Hip-Hop music.
