October Drop in Program: Celebrate Spanish Heritage

We will be celebrating Spanish Heritage month by making our own maracas. We will also be reading Mango Abulita and Me by Meg Medina and With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez.

Genealogy: Beginners' Genealogy Class 2

Join us in the Large Meeting Room for a follow-up to the Beginners' Genealogy Class. We will emphasizing basic sources of information for Genealogical research. Individual assistance will be provided as time permits.

TeenTober Tuesday: Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic History Month, teens (12 – 18) will create Papel Picado banners and use a template to make a bleach dyed shirt. Shirts will be supplied, but teens can also bring in any dark colored fabric they would like to work with. Part of this program will take place outside, so dress appropriately to be outside and use bleach.

Fiction Book Club

Join us monthly for the Fiction Book Club, facilitated by Laura Flett. This month we will be reading "Practical Magic" by Alice Hoffman.

Teen Tuesday: Banned Books Trivia

Test your knowledge of the hottest library drama; banned books! Play against your peers in a Kahoot! trivia game and maybe learn some things you didn't know before!

Adult Computer Classes for Beginners

Learn the basics of using the internet. This series of classes is for patrons with little to no experience with computers.

Let's Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month: Repujado Art

Children ages 6-11 will learn about the country Colombia. Afterwards, children will make beautiful "Repujado" art by recycling foil.

TeenTober, Candy Labs: Candy Jewelry Making Workshop

Teens ages 12-17 are invited to join us for a hands-on program where you will make your own wearable candy jewelry! This workshop teaches the basics of jewelry making using candy and upcycled materials.
