Teens (12 - 18 years old) are invited to test out their circuitry skills and practice with our Snap Circuits! While we build, we will have a discussion about famous women in science with a focus on the impacts made by Black Women scientists.

Teens are invited to join us in exploring women's contributions to science throughout history! We will unravel the DNA of a strawberry, and decode a binary message.

Are you interested in learning Spanish or practicing your Spanish skills with others? Gilda Rada, English/Spanish writer & translator, will lead the classes.

Preschoolers ages 3-5 will hear stories, poems, and songs written by African American authors. Special community guest will read selections aloud. There will also be games played that involve inventions by African Americans.

It's Black History Month! How much do you know about Black History? Join us for a fun filled evening of trivia! Test your knowledge! Did you know Mancala originated in Africa? We also invite you to stay as we play and learn the history of this ancient game. This program is for ages 12-18.

Dive into painting at our paint party! Come by and create your own work of art!

Teens are invited to unwind and play a variety of card games, board games, and video games etc. Ages 12-18.

Please join us for Pajama story time! This month's theme is "Love!" We will be sharing books all about love! Children are invited to enjoy stories, songs and create kid-friendly crafts! Pajama story time is an evening program for families with children of all ages. Children are invited to come in their pajamas and bring their favorite stuff animals

Teens will to learn about the woman (Emily Roebling) who helped with the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge. They will use their critical thinking skills to construct their own bridges! Ages: 12-18

Rhymes, songs, bounces, and books are just right for your little one! Build a foundation for lifelong reading and learning with this engaging story time!

Children will sing songs, play, and listen to stories starring "Peter", the first African American child featured in a mainstream American storybook. Join us for African American Read In 2023!

Join us for International Women and Girls in Science by creating Apollo 13 capsule models while learning about Katherine Johnson. The woman who helped bring Apollo 13 back to earth!

Drop by the library for an African American Read-In for children and see if we can pack the branch and read a book!

Join us in storytime where we will be reading stories,singing and dancing and sometimes a craft.

Adult's please join us and celebrate Valentine's Day by decorating a plate.
