Hoopla

Borrow movies, TV shows, and music using your Shreve Memorial Library card through Hoopla. To use Hoopla, visit the website and set up an account with your library card number and PIN . Once your account is set up, visit the page and log in using your email address and password.

Each cardholder can borrow 10 items a month from Hoopla. You can view or listen to items from Hoopla on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Movies and TV shows can be checked out for three days. Music can be checked out for seven days. All items will return automatically when the lending period is up.

Kanopy is a video streaming service with over 26,000 movies that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries and kid favorites. We partner with studios like A24, The Criterion Collection, PBS and more to bring your library access to thoughtful entertainment. Adult patrons are able to instantly stream movies using 30 tickets per month.

SML LogJam

SML Logjam is a new, online collection of Shreveport and Caddo Parish-based music brought to you by Shreve Memorial Library. This service launched in 2024 and the initial round included 16 local artists in the collection. Again this year, Shreve Memorial Library invites local musicians to submit their music to be included on the site. We look forward to celebrating the rich music history of Shreveport and the surrounding areas with this brand new collection of local music. Start listening at www.smllogjam.org.
