Facilities

The Shreve Memorial Library Support Services Center opened its doors in October 2015. The building houses administrative employees who previously were on the fourth floor of the Main Library, including individuals who work in Administration, Cataloging, Acquisitions, Information Technology, and Access Services. The building also has a brand new garage and spacious area for our Mobile Library. The creative design of the building provides workspaces that streamline the receiving, sorting, cataloging, rotation, and delivery of millions of books as well as space for administrative offices and large-scale personnel training.

The Support Services Center is not a library, but it does help us deliver library services throughout Shreveport and Caddo Parish. Please be aware that the public is not able to reserve rooms at the Support Services Center.
